Price Lists
Following an in depth market investigation into the funerals sector, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have made it a legal requirement that all Funeral Directors are to display an up to date Standardised Price List at their premises and on their website. This Standardised Price List should include the headline price of a funeral, the price of the individual items comprising the funeral, and the price of certain additional products and services. This allows bereaved customers to compare the prices of all local Funeral Directors, so that they can choose the best funeral for their needs and budget.
As well as displaying a Standardised Price List, Funeral Directors must also display an Additional Options Price List, and their local Crematorium Operators’ prices. We have four funeral packages to choose from, however, they are not set in stone and can be adapted to suit your needs.
Direct Funeral Package
Prices Starting From- Collecting and transporting of the deceased from the place of death into our care, within 15 miles of our premises.
- Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
- Care of the deceased before the funeral in appropriate facilities.
- Suitable coffin
- Choice of gown or own clothes
- Viewing of the deceased in or out of hours.
- Cremation fee
- Hearse only
- Collection and delivery of ashes
- Please note: The Direct Cremation Package is an unattended service, however, you are welcome to follow the cortege, or meet us at the Crematorium to see your loved one off, at no extra cost. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed inside the chapel due to the crematoriums not allowing this. You will not be able to choose the date, but if you are wanting to attend, we will do our best to get at date that is suitable for you. This package can be changed to an unattended burial; however, this will incur extra charges.
- Extra charges will apply for oversized items if needed, and additional mileage of £1.50 per mile, if over the mileage included.
- The full cost of the Direct Cremation Package must be paid before the date of the funeral.
Simple Funeral Package
Prices Starting From- Collecting and transporting of the deceased from the place of death into our care, within 15 miles of our premises.
- Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
- Care of the deceased before the funeral in appropriate facilities.
- A choice of 2 coffins, with or without an engraving.
- Choice of gown or own clothes.
- Viewing of the deceased in or out of hours.
- Taking the deceased person direct to the agreed crematorium / church (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises).
- Cremation fee for a date and time of your choosing.
- Hearse only
- Celebrant/Minister fee
- Collection and delivery of ashes
- Extras if required…
- Flowers – with choice of colours and flower selection. Prices start from £55
- Service Sheets – Order of Service including photo(s). Prices start from £79.
- If a church service is required before the committal, this will be added to the total cost above. Extra charges will apply for a burial, which includes the cost of a new grave or the re-opening of an existing grave. Extra charges will also apply for oversized items if needed, and additional mileage of £1.50 per mile, if over the mileage included.
- 50% of the Simple Funeral Package must be paid before the funeral date.
Traditional Funeral Package
Prices Starting From- Collecting and transporting of the deceased from the place of death into our care, within 15 miles of our premises.
- Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
- Care of the deceased before the funeral in appropriate facilities.
- A choice of 3 coffins, with or without an engraving.
- Choice of gown or own clothes
- Viewing of the deceased in or out of hours.
- Taking the deceased person direct to the agreed crematorium / church (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises).
- Cremation fee for a date and time of your choosing.
- Hearse and 1 Limousine
- Celebrant/Minister fee
- Flowers – Petite spray/wreath with choice of colours and flower selection.
- Collection and delivery of ashes
- Extras if required…
- Service Sheets – Order of Service including photo(s). Prices start from £79.
- If a church service is required before the committal, this will be added to the total cost above. Extra charges will apply for a burial, which includes the cost of a new grave or the re-opening of an existing grave. Extra charges will also apply for oversized items if needed, and additional mileage of £1.50 per mile, if over the mileage included.
- 50% of the Traditional Funeral Package must be paid before the funeral date.
Deluxe Funeral Package
Prices Starting From- Collecting and transporting of the deceased from the place of death into our care, within 15 miles of our premises.
- Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
- Care of the deceased before the funeral in appropriate facilities.
- A choice of 4 coffins, with or without an engraving.
- Choice of gown or own clothes
- Viewing of the deceased in or out of hours.
- Taking the deceased person direct to the agreed crematorium / church (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises).
- Cremation fee for a date and time of your choosing.
- Hearse and 2 Limousines
- Celebrant/Minister fee
- Flowers – 4ft spray/wreath with choice of colours and flower selection.
- Service Sheets – 30 four-page Order of Service including photo(s).
- Collection and delivery of ashes
- If a church service is required before the committal, this will be added to the total cost above. Extra charges will apply for a burial, which includes the cost of a new grave or the re-opening of an existing grave. Extra charges will also apply for oversized items if needed, and additional mileage of £1.50 per mile, if over the mileage included.
- 50% of the Deluxe Funeral Package must be paid before the funeral date.
